Fargo Jet Center, Inc. is hiring a Certification Project Manager. This position is responsible for supporting the design, development, flight test and certification of Supplemental Type Certificates for aircraft modifications. Essential Job Functions: Develop and maintain PMA certification for company equipment after STC has been secured. This will include development of internal systems for configuration and quality control to meet FAA requirements. • Develop and maintain the Parts Manufacturing Approval manuals • Conduct Vendor selection and issue RFQs for new programs as well as conducting continuous improvement for cost reduction with existing vendor base. • Work directly with technicians during aircraft conversion process to monitor work flow and be the focal resource for technical support. This will include gathering data from installations, generating ECO documentation as required to drive drawing changes to be processed by engineering and DER teams external to the company. • Work closely with the Minnesota Inspection District Office for PMA oversight and ACO in Chicago for the STC certification. • • Qualifications: • BS in Engineering (Aeronautical preferred) • A&P license with 10 years of experience as an A&P Mechanic preferred • 5 years of experience in aircraft modification through field approval and engineered alterations • Excellent communication skills required • Excellent project management skills required Shall have experience with Microsoft Project/Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Visio software as well as basic CAD experience preferred. • Physical Demands: Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing and pulling, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. required.
