Acceptance of Agenda: Motion (Schullery) second (Parker) to accept agenda. Motion approved.
Old Business: Information Items
Dykxhoorn reported that HCOB 0606 [changes to requirements of the Accountancy major] and HCOB
0808 [CIS 1020 change of description and removal of CS 1000 as substitute] have been approved.
Dykxhoorn also noted that HCOB 1508 and HCOB 1608 [changed admissions standards and new
minor] have been withdrawn.
New Business: Action Items
Department of Management
HCOB 2908: HR management major change
Deshpande explained the change, which, removes one required course from the major and adds two
electives, including one from MFE, became necessary with the loss of a faculty member
teaching in the area. Adjustments have been made to provide flexibility and ensure students
in this major get the courses they need. Motion (Rooney)second (Ruhl) to approve the
proposal. Motion passed with one abstention.
