Spring Flight Operations Internship(Jan -May)
Summary:
The objective of this unpaid position is to enhance the student’s preparation
for a professional aviation career. Interns will be exposed to all segments of
the Flight Operation department and will have a solid understanding of Flight
Operations upon successful completion of the internship.

Job Duties:
Under the supervision of a Training Manager of Flight Operations the Intern
will:







Work with the Training Manger on the revisions to the Flight
Operations Manuals and Publications which include; Checklists,
Systems Manuals, and Company Manuals.
Prepare updates and revisions based on Mesaba Airlines policies and
procedures, as well as changes received from FAA.
Assist with coordination and preparing for training classes
Assist with forms and record processing.
Assist Fleet Manager as needed
Job shadow and assist members of the Flight Operations department
Participate in systems ground school
Qualifications:




Successful completion of instrument pilot rating (Required)
Current junior or senior at an accredited four year college with
coursework in Aviation (Required)
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Experience with Adobe Acrobat desired
Working Conditions/Hours


Mesaba Airlines General Office
A minimum of 20 hours is required and working hours are flexible (40
hours required if internship is completed for credit)
