It is my good fortune to officially inform you that I have selected you to receive the
National Association of Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture Meritorious Teaching
Certificate for the College of Agriculture and Home Economics this year. Your teaching
achievements and refereed publications are known throughout New Mexico and we are
pleased that this award can serve as tangible evidence of your accomplishments.
The award ceremony is scheduled to begin with music at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 24,
2003, in the auditorium of Gerald Thomas Hall. I hope you and your guests can join me and
the other award recipients for a luncheon in the Social Living Center following the ceremony.
