Elliott J. Williams Experience Elliott Williams is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property group and serves clients in matters involving patent litigation, intellectual property disputes, patent prosecution, new product clearance, trade secrets and diligence review of inventionrelated assets. He is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and has worked on a variety of mechanical, kinematic and optical innovations. Elliott has also participated in federal court litigation relating to trade secrets, patents, trademarks and commercial supply contracts. Prior to joining Stoel Rives, Elliott was a law clerk with the Major Crimes Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Boston, a summer associate at Stoel Rives LLP and a judicial extern with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Before starting his legal career, Elliott was a freelance web programmer and a junior Associate and senior high school teacher at a small private school in Beaverton, Oregon.
