Experience
Vaughn Pedersen is a staff attorney in the firm's litigation group and advises clients in a variety of litigation matters. He has been involved in litigation regarding contract, employment, professional negligence, real estate, probate, and other commercial disputes.
Vaughn was most recently a summer clerk at Stoel Rives LLP in Salt Lake City in 2014.
Before that, he worked as a legal intern with the Yuma County Public Defender's

Prior to beginning his legal career, Vaughn worked as an entrepreneur developing small businesses. His most recent venture was a bookstore, Central Book Exchange, which he owned and operated in Salt Lake City, Utah (2005-2015)
Representative Work
Represented an employer against a sexual discrimination claim asserted by an exemployee. Obtained settlement that prevented litigation.
Assisted representation of a victim to cybercrimes including invasion of privacy, defamation, and violation of state and federal information privacy laws.
Assisted in the defense of an individual incarcerated and suspected of murder.
Successfully suppressed the introduction of illegally obtained evidence that was gathered in violation of the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution's protection against illegal search and seizure.
Assisted in the representation of a trust beneficiary in an action to compel the distribution of trust assets.
