Karin D. Jones Experience Karin Jones is a partner in the Labor and Employment group. She has experience in a variety of civil matters with a primary focus on employment law, providing advice to employers and representing employers in litigation before administrative agencies and the state and federal courts. In addition to her trial court practice, Karin draws on her prior experience as a law clerk at the Ninth Circuit to represent clients in appellate litigation. Karin’s practice also extends to health care and natural resources litigation, among other types of general civil litigation. Before joining Stoel Rives, Karin was a Deputy Attorney General in the Civil Litigation Division of the Office of the Idaho Attorney General (2006-2010), an associate at Hall, Farley, Oberrecht & Blanton, P.A. (2004-2006), and a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas G. Nelson at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (2003-2004).
