

Welcome to the Honors College at Daytona State College!
Remember that New Student Orientation is mandatory for all
new Honors College students and will be held on Friday,
September 10th from 1 to 3 pm in Bldg. 330, Rm. 227.
Current Honors College students are invited to stop by starting
at 2 pm to meet the new students.

Harun is an Assistant Professor in the School of Humanities and
Communication and has been at Daytona State since 2008. He
will teach the Honors section of AML2050: Modern American
Literature in Fall 2010.
Harun earned degrees from the University of Florida (Ph.D. in
Literary Theory, M.A. in New Media Studies, B.A. in English, and
B.S. in Journalism) and Indian River Community College (A.A. in
Math Education).
Fun Fact: Harun recently played live drums for a friend from
Chicago who recorded three songs at a studio in Gainesville, FL!

College at Daytona State College,’ is sufficient, I think we can do
