Mark S. Geston
Experience
Mark Geston practices in the firm's Litigation group, focusing on legal malpractice,
product liability, UCC/sales and complex commercial disputes. A "very detail-oriented
and a practical thinker" according to a Chambers USA survey, Mark has represented
clients in a variety of industries, acting as lead counsel for foreign and domestic
manufacturers of civil and military aircraft and avionics in wrongful death, personal
injury and hull loss actions. Mark has been lead counsel in construction and product
liability litigation involving residential housing developments, and was lead counsel for
an international seed and food products company in arbitration concerning a joint
venture for the development and sale of genetically modified produce. He appears at
trial in state and federal courts and in appeals before the Idaho Supreme Court and
the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition, Mark volunteers his time in assisting
immigrant women and children in Idaho who are victims of domestic violence.
