Demonstration:
After building student background knowledge in teamwork skills and conflict
resolution strategies, the teacher will model the skills and strategies of
teamwork and conflict resolution.

Guided Practice:
The teacher will provide the prompt for the letter and support the prompt with
evidence. The teacher will model the letter writing process.
Independent Practice:
Students will follow the friendly letter format and practice proper writing skills
to show understanding of teamwork and conflict resolution concepts.
Application/Transfer:
Students will write the final draft of their letter demonstrating understanding
of teamwork skills and conflict resolution strategies and how they relate to the
real world.
