IUN deans Results (for both activity and engagement process) Results of 2 focus groups (32 total participants) indicated potential areas for assistance: course offerings for teachers (licensing renewal) and students, in-service activities for teachers and computer training/ communication enhancement. Deans interacted with numerous individuals to confirm long-term partners for collaboration including Ivy Tech State College, Lifelong Learning Network (Newton and Jasper Counties), North and South Newton County Schools, Purdue University Extension Service and St. Joseph’s College. North and South Newton County Schools indicated 7-10 teachers would pursue license renewal annually. The committee has not yet collected data specific to AQIP questions 3 (Understanding Students’ and Other Stakeholders’ Needs) and 9 (Building Collaborative Relationships). The committee met with Marilyn Vasquez on 04/30/2004 to gain a greater understanding of this task and has begun to consider linkages already made as well as future actions that would support this endeavor. What are your specific action steps to ensure that the data needed to complete the systems portfolio related to your Outcome have been completed by November 30?
