Brief career history
I started my career as a Records Manager and Archivist, working at a range of London based
organisations including software company QAS Ltd and the British Medical Association before joining
the University of Sheffield as a Departmental Administrator in 2004. I took up my current post as
Deputy Director of Strategy, Planning and Governance in 2008.

Promotions/appointments committees
 I have chaired and sat on appointment panels at the University for administrative roles in both
academic and professional services departments.
 I am currently an external member of the promotions and ECA panels for the Faculty of
Engineering (Grades 1-8).
Other relevant roles
 I have acted as an informal mentor to colleagues at the University and externally.
