AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE A PART (or ALL) OF
STREET IN THE TOWN OF PITTMAN CENTER, TENNESSEE
WHEREAS, the Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the Town of Pittman Center, after due
investigation and consideration, has determined that the nature and extent of the public use and
the public interest to be subserved is such as to warrant the vacation of the part of __________
Street lying between __________ Avenue and __________ Avenue in the Town of Pittman
Center; and
WHEREAS, the vacation of the part of __________ Street described above has been
submitted to and approved by the Planning Commission of the Town of Pittman Center; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held on
comment on this issue; now therefore,

Be it Ordained by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the Town of Pittman Center, Tennessee
as follows:
SECTION 1. The part of __________ Street lying between __________ Avenue and
__________ Avenue in the Town of Pittman Center be and is hereby vacated.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the public
welfare requiring it.
