Consider it an informative ‘chat’

Who was it with and what did it involve?

• Two research staff members at your institute

• Normally have expertise that are relevant to your project

• Present your project to them – show off your knowledge!

• Chat about your work to date

• Discuss options for your future work

• Review your development

• 1.5 hour long maximum

How did I prepare?

• Wrote my first year report – literature review

• Organised my review session with my reviewers

• Gave a copy of my report to my reviewers two weeks before we met

• Prepared a presentation – 15 to 20 minutes long
