Guidelines for Preparing your Poster Graduate Research Day Poster Session March 13, 2012 General Directions • Posters must be 3 panels and a total of 24” wide x 36” high • Posters must have 3 panels: • Left Panel (Facing the poster) should have an Abstract (100 words maximum) and a Rationale/Introduction • Middle panel describes Methods, Materials and Results • Right Panel contains Conclusions and References TITTLE Name LOGO Abstract Introduction LOGO Methods and Materials CHART or PICTURE Results CHART or PICTURE Conclusions CHART or PICTURE CHART or PICTURE References CHART or PICTURE General Guidelines • Plan on setting up your poster at least 15 minutes prior to the session. • Primary researcher must stay with the poster for the entire session and be prepared to discuss the research and answer questions.
