Evaluation: There will be two tests and an end-of-semester paper, each worth 25%. The paper will be in the form of a research proposal in which a novel experiment is presented and justified by a brief review of the contemporary literature. One journal article in the area of cognitive neuroscience will be presented by each student through the semester. Leading and participating in discussions will contribute to 25% of the final grade. The final grading scheme will be as follows: A+ (90+), A (85-89), A- (80-84), 70 – 79 will be divided equally among B-, B, B+, 60 – 69 will be divided equally among C-, C, C+, 50 – 59 will be divided equally among D-, D, D+, F < 50.
