WHEREAS, the Environmental Responsibility Account is funded by
Organized Activities Fund; and
3
WHEREAS, the current Student Office of Sustainability Commission Bylaws
4
governing the budgeting process of the Environmental Responsibility Account do
5
not reflect the best practices of the Organized Activities Fund; and
6
WHEREAS, the Student Office of Sustainability Commission wishes to
7
standardize their budget process relative to other Organized Activities Fund
8
accounts and other Student Senate Commissions;
9
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Student Senate supports the
10
amendments made to the Student Office of Sustainability Bylaws reflected by the
11
changes presented in Attachment “A;”
12
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these changes take effect immediately; and
13
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that upon passage, President Fish transmit a
14
copy of this bill to Dr. James Schmidt, Chancellor; Dr. Patricia Kleine, Provost/Vice
15
Chancellor; Dr. Beth Hellwig, Vice Chancellor, Student Affairs; Dr. Joseph Abhold,
16
Dean of Students; Mitch Freymiller, Chair, University Senate; Dr. Martin Hanifin,
17
Vice Chancellor, Administration & Finance; and Jim Boulter, Professor, Chemistry
