ENGL 486: Internship in Written Expression
Seeking: English majors and minors who are energetic, creative students, are excited about writing and
enjoy working with others.
Credits: 1-3 credits, depending on your schedule and your time availability
Description: Work in the writing studio or become a “target tutor” which works with a specific class
throughout the semester. Duties would include working with students in small groups on specific
writing skills and tutor students outside of class based on their individual writing needs. At the end of
the internship a written project would be required.
