The mission of Cosumnes River College is to provide opportunities for individuals to
achieve their maximum potential and contribute to the well being of the larger community.
To achieve this mission, the College provides





Transfer, general and career education at the lower division level;
Training and services that contribute to the continuous improvement of the workforce and
the quality of life in the region;
Instruction in basic skills and English as a second language;
Appropriate support and instructional services to help students succeed at the community
college level, to transfer to four-year colleges and universities and/or to transition to work;
and
Life-long learning and community service courses and activities.
Cosumnes River College provides an inclusive learning environment and creates dynamic

To fulfill its mission, the College will provide student access, support academic quality and rigor,
