CRITERIA FOR YOUTH ACTION KEY FUND 1. The funding must be allocated to projects, which are targeted on children/young people ( 5-19 year olds ) or people who work with young people 2. Projects should be able to demonstrate at least 15% match funding- this may include voluntary or in kind contributions. 3. The funding is for revenue costs and only a maximum of 10% of the funding for each project is available for capital costs. 4. The project must indicate how it will impact on reducing crime or fear of crime, or engage young people in either pre 16 or post 16 education, training or employment. 5. The project must show a clear link to the local Community Action Plan. 6. The project must show how it enables young people to take more responsibility for their own lives or the environment. 7. There will be a requirement for projects to complete a detailed monitoring form that provides information on the project and the children/young people who benefited.
