BUDGET GROUP
Budget Group meets again on 27th March. There will not then be a
Community Committee meeting to ratify their recommendations until 9 th May.
In the past, when such a situation has arisen, Committee has agreed to
delegate to the six councillors for the area responsibility for ratifying Budget
Group’s recommendations. This means that successful applicants for funding
do not have an undue wait for their money.
Will Committee agree to councillors taking responsibility for deciding on
the recommendations of March Budget Group?
