The total number Enforcement complaints reported to the Council 103 (Previous quarter 94) The number of breaches reported is not spread evenly across the City and the attached bar chart indicates the number of breaches by ward. Cases Closed The Greater Manchester Authorities are now collecting benchmarking data for Enforcement Action and have set a standard for cases to be closed at 13 weeks. Cases are closed for a number of reasons including;No breach found Planning Application submitted Breach ceased. Formal action taken. Number of cases closed: 80 Percentage closed within 13 weeks: 88.75% (In comparison the figure for the first three quarters of 2002/3 was 76% and the average figure for AGMA authorities, for the same period, was 64%) Total number of complaints resulting in a Breach of Planning Control: 33 Full year - 1st April 2002 to 31st March 2003 Complaints received.
