SALFORD CITY COUNCIL - RECORD OF DECISION
I, HARRY SEATON, THE DIRECTOR OF HOUSING SERVICES
in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Paragraph 6A of Section 2F of the
Scheme of Delegation of the Council, and following consultation with Councillors
WARMISHAM and HUNT, being the Lead and the Deputy Lead Member,
respectively, for the Housing function, do hereby approve:
The tender in the sum of £319,736 as submitted by Housing Services Maintenance
Division for the Renewal of bathrooms in the Eccles and Irlam areas of the City.
Inclusive of fees, the overall scheme cost is anticipated to be £351,710.
The reasons are that the bathrooms are the next oldest on line within the Cities
rolling renewal programme.
The source of funding is from Capital resources with a budget allocation of £357,500.
Treasurers have been consulted and they have confirmed that the anticipated spend
can be accommodated within the capital programme.
