Together Action Areas On 18 February 2005, Salford became one of fifty nationwide Together Action Areas. Together is a national campaign to prioritise and tackle anti-social behaviour and put the needs of the community first. This week the government has started an advertising campaign within Salford to publicise a phone line “It’s your call” 0845 605 2222. Any resident of the city can use this phone line to report incidents of antisocial behaviour. What will the Together campaign do? We are sending out the clear message to people in Salford that we are taking anti-social behaviour seriously We are encouraging the people of Salford to work with us and play a part in stopping antisocial behaviour, by reporting incidents We will be ensuring that the public can see that Salford City Council and partners are working together to stop anti-social behaviour We want to show the positive outcomes of what we do so that the public can see the benefits of the activities and that “playing a part” has value - so we will be publicising successes locally How can you play a part? We want you to help us spread our messages: We will not tolerate anti-social behaviour Anti-social behaviour can be reported on a new national phone line 0845 605 2222 We want the support of the community to put power back in the hands of the lawabiding majority Its up to local people to take a stand, make that call, and make a difference Want more information?
