BACKGROUND
1.1
The decisions relating to the 2003/4 budget require there to be a complete closure of
the Town Twinning budget within the Education & Leisure Directorate, saving £45,000
in 2003/4 and £54,000 in 2004/5.

DETAILS
2.1
The Town Twinning Officer has accepted an offer of Voluntary Redundancy and
leaves the authority on 30th June 2003.
2.2
Grants budgets have been reinstated for 2002/3 and are managed within the
Corporate Services Directorate
2.3
The required savings have been achieved.
