If I were Officer Pitman, I would have acted differently.
I would return and try to save any of the people who were still floating in
the freezing water and who were crying for help.
Because I couldn’t stand people who were crying, shouting and moaning for
help, I would try my best to save those people.
I thought it was the first important thing in my heart that I must do when
I saw the scene that someone who needed help.
If I didn’t do that, I would feel really bad and want to cry with them.
If I did that, I would feel very happy.
Furthermore, I thought it would be an act of great heroism.
For me, even a small success would give me a sense of achievement.
