Assistant Director Admissions
Purpose
Purpose:
To support the University's recruitment efforts for the Undergraduate population by
providing direction on the use of technology, social media, e-communications and
telecounseling. Additional support provided to recruitment staff in the development
of communication plans as it pertains to the above categories.
Essential Functions
Function 1:
Supervise two Admissions Counselors responsible for the oversight of office
customer service and data integrity, along with student employees.
25 % Time
Function 2:
Serve as the functional/technical lead for CRM, Campus Solutions, and Portal.
30 % Time
Function 3:
Responsible for office webpages and content in the CMS.
15 % Time
Function 4:
Responsible for on-line recruitment, on-line college fairs and third party
partnerships.
15 % Time
Function 5:
Development of html webpages and e-mails, videos and emerging technology for
recruitment communications.
15 % Time
Marginal/Incidental Functions
Marginal/Incidental Functions:
Other functions as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, Three-Five years of admissions/counseling or related experience
and one year supervisory experience. Skills: Computer literacy, word processing,
email, excellent organizational skills, prioritizing, maintenance and preparation of
records. Applicants must include in their online resume the following information:

degree type, major, graduated or not, and hours completed if not graduated.
Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as
appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications:
2-3 years supervising student/professional staff. Master's Degree. Oracle's
Peoplesoft Campus Solutions, CRM, Portal products. Ability to write in html.
