Research Engineering Scientist Associate III Purpose Purpose: To perform professional counseling and training of all small business owners and their employees in effective marketing methods, and assistance relative to locating and bidding on federal, state, and local government contracts. Essential Functions Function 1: Coach business owners on the process of locating bid information and preparing responses on construction and other types of government solicitations. 25 % Time Function 2: Train business owners and their employees to make companies more profitable through better utilization of all resources. Provide training in Government Contracting methods, procedures, and submitting a winning proposal. 25 % Time Function 3: Research government marketing opportunities, new construction technologies, and related application ideas. Stay up to date on current government contracting laws, regulations, and procedures. 25 % Time Function 4: Maintain client files and assist with reporting requirements. 25 % Time Marginal/Incidental Functions Marginal/Incidental Functions: Other related functions as assigned. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Marketing, Management, Accounting, or related field. 2 years of experience developing and delivering training programs targeted to Government contracting.
