Purpose
Purpose:
Serve as the Associate Dean with administrative responsibility for the activities of
Research and Community Outreach.
Essential Functions
Function 1:
Provides leadership for the School of Social Work in achieving its scholarship
mission. In collaboration with faculty, students, staff, and administrators, the
Associate Dean for Research and Community Outreach plans for and manages the
resources and services to support the research and evaluation activities of the
School of Social Work.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Eligibility for a tenured appointment at the rank of associate or full professor. A
strong record of securing external funding for research projects. A record of
successfully managing funded research projects. Prior administrative experience
preferred. A strong record of scholarly journal publications. A strong record of
working with colleagues, and mentoring tenure-earning faculty.
