This person must be able to oversee preservation projects from pre-deployment to demobilization and may include the coordination of multiple projects simultaneously that occur in multiple countries worldwide relying on key relationships within and external to the Company. The position is responsible for managing the day-to-day preservation activities of a crew that may include local, client-supplied site labor, Cortec Preservation Technician, or combinations thereof. This position is responsible for overseeing the work of others as well as completing hands-on application of Cortec preservation. This role is also responsible for developing, designing, delivering and managing the certification of OJT (on-the-job) training modules both internally and externally. Additionally this role is accountable for all deliverables as assigned per contract with client. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 1. Create and maintain processes under “Global Best Practice” guiding principles for preparing for execution/mobilization/preparation of contracts and projects including estimating operational requirements, talent, supplies, materials and products. 4. Manage project readiness throughout the process of contract negotiation and execution. 5. Ensure all contract requirements are understood and in line with Global Services’ strategic objectives. 6. Ensure that all internal and external communication requirements are met, documented and forwarded to the Global Account Director or Senior Project Manager – Preservation & Field Services. 7. Develop and deploy OJT training modules based on Scope of Work (SOW) for assigned projects. 8. Strong preference for VCI/VpCI preservation service crew management. Some projects may require additional licensing, safety and/or specific requirements such as TWIC® card, background checks, drug/alcohol testing, offshore, open-water safety, NACE® certification. This position requires physical activity, the extent of which is based on the project being completed. It should be understood that often the employee will be working in a construction area, most similar to an “oil/gas module fabrication yard” where the scope of work completed by the employee may require working on scaffolding, scissor lifts or permanent grating – where the work may be completed on a platform, scaffolding or grating, and is located up to 30-60 meters from the ground.
