Volumen 20mL/kg orally, maximum dose 1800mL.
Pt. to start drinking 90 min before study, finishing 15 min before imaging.

Glucagon:
Glucagon 0.5 mg IV total dose (dose to be divided into two 0.25mg doses).
Used as a smooth muscle relaxant
Localizing sequences complete
Glucagon reconstituted with sterile water (1mL)
Flush with sterile water prior to injecting Glucagon,
1st dose Glucagon, 0.25 mg IV after patient is positioned on table and localizing sequences have been
performed.
Pre-gad images checked by radiologist
2nd dose Glucagon 0.25 mg IV once pre-contrast sequences are done. Give 2nd dose Glucagon immediately
PRIOR to MRI contrast
Following administration of glucagon, flush IV with sterile water.
