Allamakee County Fair Scholarship
Letter of Support
To the Applicant
To submit an application for the Allamakee County Fair Scholarship, you must include
two letters of support, one from an academic advisor such as a high school instructor,
guidance counselor, advisor, or principal, AND the other from a community member or 4-H
volunteer.
Contact and ask if they will write a letter of support. Provide them with the following
information and any other details that will help them write a letter to support your application.

To the Advisor/Community Member/Volunteer
The above-named applicant for the Allamakee County Fair Scholarship has respectfully
requested that you write a letter of support relative to 4-H/FFA participation, leadership,
citizenship, and character. All written statements will be opened by the fair scholarship
committee. Please return your letter (on plain or letterhead stationery) prior to March 1.
