4-H Scholarship
Letter of Support
To the Applicant
To submit an application for an Allamakee 4-H scholarship, you must include two letters of
support, one from an academic advisor such as a high school instructor, guidance
counselor, advisor, or principal, AND the other from a community member or 4-H volunteer.
Contact and ask if they will write a letter of support. Provide them with the following
information and any other details that will help them write a letter to support your application.

Applicants need to have letter returned/sent by March 1.
To the Advisor/Community Member/Volunteer
The above-named applicant for an Allamakee 4-H scholarship has respectfully requested
that you write a letter of support relative to leadership, citizenship, and character. All written
statements will be opened by the 4-H scholarship committee. Please return your letter (on
plain or letterhead stationery) prior to March 1. Thank you for supporting this 4-H
scholarship applicant.
