This is a road-biking trip offering particpants two option on most if not all day: Option 1 will be to ride approximately 30 miles; option 2 is longer ride of approximately 50 miles. Seattle will be home base for all but one night. On Day 6, we will ferry to Friday Harbor where we will bike and stay overnight. The folloiwnt day we will take the ferry to Victoria, BC, bike there, and then return to Seattle. This is the itinerary: Day 1, Sat. 5 Jul: travel to Seattle. It is more important for us to ascertain that our applicants are experienced with riding on roadways shared by motorists. We have the unique opportuniity to offer two rides each day: one will be +/- 30 miles and the other will be +/- 50 miles. There will be the opportunity to make day to day decisions on which ride to be on. While in Seattle there is the option not to ride if appropriate and necessary.
