The focus of the trip is primarily hiking, with some sightseeing and “local color” experience – such as visiting the Elk Preserve and evenings in downtown Jackson Hole. Most of the best hikes in the area are strenuous; however we will try to moderate the requirements by offering a second option hike on days where the most difficult hikes will be done (9+ miles and 3000’ elevation gain). There are a sufficient number of hikes in the 6-9 mile range, with up to 2000’ elevation gain to allow lots of choices depending on the group.
