Day hikes in the Santa Catalina, Tucson and Santa Rita Mtns around Tucson, AZ + visit
to Saguaro Nat'l Park, including visitors center, ranger activities and interpretative trails:
five days of day hikes + 1 day at national park; prospectus includes complete itinerary:
Sun 4/6: Romero Canyon, Santa Catalina Mtns.
Mon 4/7: Blackett's Ridge, Santa Catalina Mtns.
Tues 4/8: Hutch's Pool, Santa Catalina Mtns.
Wed 4/9: Saguaro Nat'l Park-West + Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum
Thurs 4/10: Wasson Peak, Tucson Mtns.
Fri 4/11: Mt Wrightson, Santa Rita Mtns. + alternate hike
7 nights at Comfort Inn, 1560 W. Grant Rd, Tucson, three miles from downtown, travel
to trailheads generally less than 1 hour, in many cases no more than 30 minutes; 2 hikers
per room; extra charge for those requesting single.
Breakfast at motel; lunches prepared by hikers with groceries stored in room minifridges; group dinners at nearby restaurants: 7 breakfasts (Sun - Sat) and 7 dinners (Sat Fri) included; lunches, personal snacks, alcoholic beverages excluded from trip cost
