The trip will include 7 breakfasts, 5 lunches, and 6 dinners. Day 5 is a visit to a sea side
village. Participants will need to purchase lunch and dinner that day.
Local transportation will be provided by the hotel. They will provide AP transfers and
daily rides to and from hiking locations.

Participants will be need to have intermedate hiking experience which will include the
ability to hike 6-8 hours consecutive days and upto 15 miles in a day. This will be
asertained as part of the screening process through detailed review of prior hiking
experience and references.

We will learn about Spanish culture, eat various local foods, and explore the
natural beauty of the Peaks of Eurpoe. Durig our hikes we will have a local
spanish guide who will answer questions about the terrain, culture, etc. We will
also explore a costal fishing town.

There are no river crossings or wildlife to be concerned about. Just standard mountain
hiking risks of twisted ankles, scrapes, bruises.
Response
Participants will be encouraged to look where they are stepping, be careful of lose rocks
on the trail, etc. If someone gets hurt on a trail, AMC leader and local guid will have
first aid equipment. If the condition is serious, professional mounatin police can assist or
helecopter rescue is an option.

must be careful of personal belongings.

Participants will be advised to keep passports and money in a safe place and be aware of

COST AND BUDGET DETAILS
Prices have been quoted and need to be paid in Euros (E756 pp). Right
now the current exchange rate is $1.18 USD to 1 Euro. Over the past
year the exchange rate had hovered around $1.38 USD to 1 Euro. Since
this is an unusally low exchange rate and this trip is scheduled over 1.5
years out, I have used $1.35 USD to 1 Euro to cover possibility of
flucuations. If rates continue to stay favorable to the USD, refunds will
be provided to trip participants.

Cancellation policy is no fee up until 1 month prior to departure, after that 100%
payment.
A $500 deposit will be required with application, $900 required within 2 weeks of
acceptance in program, balance of $530 due 90 days prior to trip departure.
Cancellation should not raise trip cost to any participant; if cancellation is required, all
money will be returned less share of expenses incurred or can't be avoided; full refund
if spot is taken by a new participant.
