We will explore the history of hiking in the Alps, local flora and fauna, local cuisine, local customs and lifeways of the Bavarian people. Munich is replete with historic, artistic and cultural opportiunities. The Bavarian Octoberfest will be going on when we return to Munich. We will possibly have a native speaker join the group while we are traveling to lend local cultural experience.
