Both leader and co-leader has been hiking in Sedona.
Executive summary
Please provide a brief
description of the trip and the
activities planned.
We will spend 7 days/8 nights hiking and exploring Sedona. There are numerous trails
among the 4 energy vortexes. Hikes will be between 0-1000' elevation and will last 5-6
hours/day. We will visit Palatki Ruins, prehistoric pueblos, where we can walk among
ruins of over 700 years old. We will walk trails near Montezuma's Well where we can
put out tired feet in to get them rejuvinated for the rest of our trip.
All of our nights will be in one location in Sedona. We will stay at a LaQuinta hotel,
2/room with private baths and outdoor pool.

A Red Rock Park Pass, of $15, is required on all vehicles entering Red Rock Country,

to hike there is another $5/person pass. Some of the other Pueblo's require a $5 pass. I
added two passes along with the Red Rock Park Pass to the trip cost.

Climate difference among the different areas of Sedona. Could be very warm while we
are there, while some locations near Flagstaff could be much cooler.

We will drive everyone from Phoenix to Sedona in two 12-person vans (Budget - Indian
School Road).
