Skiing is done in remote areas, emergency services are provided by Park Rangers on snowmobiles. Snow vehicles have radios, leaders have cell phones. We carry emergency first aid and survival equipment. We have cell phones, may not have service in all places, and 2 way radios. Contact National Park Service and arrange for evacuation with them by snowmobile, snow coach or helicopter if necessary. There is a Clinic at Mammoth, some Rangers are WEMTs or WFRs. Leader is WFR.
