This trip visits some very beautiful areas of New Mexico. The canyons, deserts and the
various natural formations are great areas to hike. Our archeologist guide is bringing us
to designated areas where pictographs and petroglyphs remain, describing Native
American life many hundreds of years ago as well as flora and fauna of the area.. We
will also encourage conservation by staying on trails and not feeding animals, but
hopefully being able to view wildlife. There will be discussions about water rights and
conservation .
