2.Visit Dzibilchaltun, see flamingos, museum in Merida
3.Drive to Uxmal visit site; do sound and light show
4.Do sites near Uxmal: Labna, Sayil and Xlapak
5.Visit Kabah site; stop in Holpolchen on way to site at Edzna and then go to Campeche
6.Drive to Palenque, enjoy local town
7.Visit site in Palenque
8.Drive to Ecovillage at Xpujil, visit Chicana and Becan sites

10. Drive to Chetumal stopping to visit Kohunlich site; enjoy walking in Chetumal

We may do a get together to select roommates. Probable not though.
We will discuss theries on why the Mayan civilization collapsed and see for ourselves
the parallels that are occurring now. We will, of course, study the Mayan ruins, but we
will also see modern cities and villages and see how the rain forest has been cut down
and what effact this has had on the local ecosystems.
