Summative Assessment Objective
Students will identify and use story vocabulary correctly within the context of
sentences and paragraphs. Students will identify key elements about fairy
tales. Students will make predictions before and during reading the fairy
tales and use text evidence to support their predictions. Students will read
different fairy tales and use text evidence to compare and contrast the stories
and respond to questions about each story. Students will identify similes and
metaphors within the fairy tales. Students will construct and design flip
books identifying different types of figurative language. Students will identify
and use singular and plural nouns correctly.
