Mesopotamia Informational Writing
This month’s informational writing will be on Ancient Mesopotamia. Over the next few days
students will have time to research Ancient Mesopotamia (learned is Social Studies and
Reading). Please follow the directions below.
YOUR PROJECT IS DUE ON December 18th (10 days to complete)
Cover Page: Title, Name, class (written in English and Cuneiform.)
Page 1: Map of Ancient Mesopotamia.
Page 2: Current Map where Mesopotamia would be located today.
Page 3: Create a time-line containing at least 8 important events that occurred during this
time.
Page 4: Give a detailed account of the ancient peoples of Mesopotamia and their
contributions to society. Must be at least 3 paragraphs in length.
