Industrial / Manufacturing Engineer
Location of this position is Taiwan. (We are looking for an expatriate to relocate to
Taiwan and live / work for 3-5 years.) Must be a native speaker of Mandarin to be a
serious candidate for this position with fluent English.
Join our Client's team to help revolutionize the manufacturing of the world's best
footwear. In this role, you will aid in the development, design, and implementation of
automated manufacturing lines /systems.
Description:
You will develop assembly processes, design / develop automated equipment and
processes layouts, design / develop fixtures & tooling for a variety of assembly tasks for
manufacturing. You will implement industrial automation, new product launches, and
lean manufacturing concepts. You will also evaluate the manufacturability of products,
develop appropriate assembly processes, and plan appropriate tools / fixtures / gauges to
achieve assembly cost targets.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Master degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or
Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years minimum experience required (5-10 years preferred) in Industrial Engineering
specifically around automated manufacturing line layout, design, and management
(process mapping, time & motion study, layout, people / material / equipment flow, and
efficiency analysis)
- Experience in the application of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools and methods
- Hands on experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
- Experience with MS Visio 2d CAD software a plus
- Experience with 3d Create simulation software a plus
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work across cultures
- Mandarin fluency a plus
- Strong motivational and leadership qualities demonstrated in a product
creation/manufacturing environment
- Proficient problem solver with an innate ability to deal with ambiguity
- Ability to lead multiple complex projects at one time and prioritize work according to
potential impact
- Effective project and resource management experience with a proactive approach to
team specific issues

藉由這次老師派給我們的作業讓我的英文能力增加許多，因為你必須自己找一
篇英文的求才文章並自己翻譯，在這翻譯的過程中讓我自己發現英文的重要
性，也讓我知道現在外面公司在徵才時所需要的哪些條件，而也讓我自己知道
現在自己還缺失哪些條件，因而了解我現在還差別人還有一段距離，所以現在
必須努力學習把自己所缺失的才能彌補起來。

在這篇文章有在課堂提過的內容有：公司所需要的層級人力(高級人力、中級人
力、基層人力)，及公開徵才時所要的條件；用人性質(工業工程學)、教育背景(學
士或碩士)、經驗、所擔任的工作、工作條件(待遇、福利、發展、設備)、工作
之特別限制(語言)，而這間公司的羅致媒介是網路並且是向社會吸引人才，還有

陸、另類思考
希望這間公司在徵這個職位時，不要只限用高級人力，因為有時中級人力並不
會比高級人力差，雖然語言方面可能就不太行，但我相信那些中級人力只要上
相當的課程學習應該是可以跟高級人力的能力差不多的。
柒、上過本課程後之感想幫助
這學期修這堂課人力資源管理的課程讓我學習到許多，因為老師有時在上課時
也會補充一些他所在業界知道的一些例子來講述給我們聽，也讓我了解到原來
一個公司要招聘人員時所需要的條件，在家上老師在講課時也清楚明瞭，所以
在聽課時就很容易就聽懂了，所以非常謝謝老師這學期的教導。
