Subject: 9th G3OS Sponsors Group Meeting – 1st Announcement
I have the honour to invite you to participate in the 9th Session of the Sponsors
Group for the Global Observing Systems to be held on Wednesday, 26 May 2004 at FAO
Headquarters in Rome, via delle Terme di Caracalla, 00100 Rome, Italy, in the Cuba room
(to be confirmed), starting at 09.30.
A draft agenda for the meeting is attached. If you have any comments, please
contact the GTOS Secretariat (gtos@fao.org) not later than 20 April 2003. In the draft
agenda we have indicated where background documents will be needed, and to ensure
adequate time for all materials to be reviewed in advance of the discussion in Rome, we ask
you to submit the documents not later than 13 May. The documents will be available at
www.fao.org/gtos/meetG3OS.html .
A registration form for participants, including logistic information, is also attached.
Please return this form to us not later than 10 May.
