4. How did you like the story? What experiences or memories did the story remind
you of?
In a faraway country, there lived a king whose cheese makers made the best
cheese in all the land. Everyone in the country could smell that cheese even a
mouse did. Soon every mouse in all the land was running to the palace. The
mice had fun living with the king and eating his cheese, but the king did not like
this. Therefore, he called in his wise men to make some ideas to get rid of these
mice. They brought in cats, but the king did not like them. Thus, they brought
dogs, lions, and elephants to get rid of cats, dogs, and lions. They brought back
all the elephants to chase every elephants, and the king makes a deal and shared
his with the mice.
I like this story very much because this book uses some intermediate words. It
can let me learn some new vocabulary and understand this cute story. This story
let me understand the importance of sharing things to others. Although the king
did not like the mice, he knew that only the mice can help him chase all the
elephants. Due to this lesson, the king learned that he could make a deal and get
rid of the mice even share all his cheese to them. This story reminds me that I do
not like to share some food to my brother, so I am always punished by my mom.
The experience makes me know sharing things is happier than do it by myself.
