Banking is different from the manufacturing industries that provide knowledge-based products or services. The environment of banking industry is highly uncertain and crisis-prone (Shih et., al. 2010). Therefore it is important for banks to focus on the techniques of knowledge sharing to cope with a changing environment. There are many factors that influence knowledge sharing behaviors of employees. Some researchers focused on individuals’ belief, attitudes and behaviors in knowledge sharing but little empirical research examined on technology as mechanism to foster knowledge sharing in organizations (Andrews &Delahaye, 2000).
