Have you ever tried to have our voices heard? Have you ever stood out to protect our right?
Are you already prepared to face any challenges with me together? Are you already
prepared to change our life? If there still exists some mistrust, I will have you all
understand, it is time for changing now and I will fight with you with no doubt.
People in Taiwan are always too afraid to face those problems which ought not to exist in
the society. Don’t be afraid! We will bravely stand out together for our rights. Don’t be
afraid! We shall show them who the boss is.
Have you ever gotten furious at those terrible policies? Have you ever felt unvalued by our
government? Have you ever been ignored by useless incapable institutions? Don’t be afraid!
We will have our voice heard. Don’t be afraid! We will have those terrible policies
disappeared. Don’t be afraid! You are the one who has the only right to decide what your
future will be.
We are going to face a hard time in the future, but don’t be afraid, we will fight together.
We might be judged by someone who couldn’t understand what we fight for, but don’t be
afraid, we are going to let them know those things will actually lead us to a wonderful
future. We might fall down on the way to our future, but don’t be afraid, we will help each
other to stand up and keep going together.
We have to know there is a bright future waiting for us. We have to know that we will
become stronger after going through those challenges. We have to know that no one has
written our destinies, but our destinies are in our hands. Don’t be afraid. I will be with you
to have those things come true.
