It is when we bid farewell to teachers and fellow classmates; it is when we prepare our hearts to welcome a new world. Just like when birds fly away from their nests, like when lion cubs catch their first prey, on a graduation ceremony, we leap out, we soar on high, to fly and catch the fruit of success. Thanksgiving is an important part of a graduation ceremony. First, students should thank their teachers for all the efforts they have made. Students can write a card or sing a song to their teachers. They can even act out a drama imitating each teacher’s teaching style, to show their care for the students and the students’ gratefulness to them. Next, graduates should thank each other. Having being classmates for a period of time, misunderstandings may occur, and graduation is a time to end conflicts and to give each other a smile. After all, it is a time when everything is new. Graduates can share their memories in school, encourage one another, and watch photos taken during the past years together. Last but not least, graduates should thank their parents. After receiving their diploma, they can hand it over to their parents and give them a big hug, telling them, “Thank you for raising me up.
